Porsche 356B/C T5/T6 Right-Hand Drive Parts
Changing Porsche 356 from Left-Hand Drive to Right-Hand Drive

Basically parts needed are:
- RHD pedal box assembly + under floor horseshoe shaped bracket
- RHD dash (or cut and shut LHD dash)
- T5 fuel tank (if converting BT6) or Later 'C' RHD tank
- T5 hood Floor (if converting T6)
- RHD steering box or RHD Pitman Arm
- Floorboards for RHD (can be DIY'ed)
RHD pedal Box is easy to fit - The cables don't have to be moved as they are pulled from the same locations as the LHD car. Porsche used extended levers for Clutch and Accelerator for RHD ( the early 911 (all 911's?) also does this for RHD).
Theres a second bracket for RHD which sits on the LH of the tunnel and supports the extended levers .
The brake MC needs a new hole cut for it and the old one blanked, the RH floorboard mount has the location holes for RHD already present.
The dash is a simple change.
The handbrake must reversed to pull from the RH - ie cutting/rewelding + needs some bracket work on the torsion bar.
The Steering box is moved to the RH and a relief must be fabricated in the nose space (same as on the LH.)
A T5 will be much simpler to do than the T6 as there is no fuel tank work involved.
Theres lots of small changes needed to make things fit which must be figured out as you go along. (eg. Window washer pump needs relocation).
It's definitely not a job to attempt if you are not comfortable with Welding/Fabricating/General-Mechanical stuff and have a good understanding of all the parts of a car and how they work.

Parts variations
The following is a list of parts which are different between LHD and RHD cars. It is not complete, in particular the various components of the fuel tank are not listed separately. I have also omitted unusual options and all parts for the Carrera.
Note: If fitting to a T6, the T5 fuel tank needs to be modified to clear the air intake below the windscreen. This is how the factory did it:
